Golden Idet in the category Military and Security Logistics and Services

In the competition for the best exhibits at IDET, a nanofiber membrane developed at our university scored. An expert evaluation committee led by Colonel Professor Martin Mack, Vice-Rector of the University of Defense in Brno, awarded the prestigious Golden Idet Award in the Military and Security Logistics and Services category at the beginning of May. Thanks to its unique nanofiber structure with a fiber diameter of up to 150nm, the nanofiber membrane has 20 million pores per cm2 more than microporous membranes. As a result, it has unrivaled properties: above all, extremely high vapor permeability, or the ability to transport body moisture from the human skin to the external environment.
